Moderna Therapeutics Clinical Manufacturing Facility

Moderna Therapeutics 200,000 square foot state-of-the-art GMP clinical manufacturing facility was constructed to support the development of mRNA medicines. This highly accelerated project, which contained over 600,000 pounds of ductwork, was completed in under eight months – three or four times faster than a typical project of this size and scope. It was awarded the 2019 ISPE Facility of the Future Award and is also LEED Gold Certified. McCusker-Gill was later retained for another fast-track project in this facility to support research and development of a COVID-19 vaccine.
